As well as with his own band, and solo shows, he’s been touring the world as keyboardist, singer, and sometimes arranger/musical director of Chubby Checker and the Wildcats since the 80s. He’s played with Len Barry, Jon Bon Jovi, Bowser, Rocky Burnette, the Cadillacs, the Capris, Freddie Cannon, Mel Carter, the Chantels…
The next show is LOCAL AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC[almost never happens] Resorts World Casino in NYC. New York City’s new and only casino. It’s at Belmont, Queens, June 14th 8pm.
I’m hosting the Uptown Jam every Thursday night at Big Billy’s [138 Mt Vernon Ave Mt Vernon]A very friendly bar that has great bar food, cheap drinks and great musicians on Thursdays. Lately we’ve been featuring jazz 5-7 pm. Then we let it rip til 11 or 12. We like to feature great musicians, but frequently see greatness where very little previously existed. Last nigh we had a horn section. Join us this Thursday.
Saturday night, July 19th, 2014 was the blowout of the season. The Westchester Tavern hosted the album release party for “Yours” available now. He’s been working on this thing forever, and it sounds great. We taped it and videoed it. If it sounds and looks half as good as it was that night, it will be inspiring.
